You know what bothers me about Eclare fanfiction? In almost all of them, the writer has villainized Imogen, Jake, and/or Julia.

First of all we’ve never met Julia, so way is she always portrayed as this evil bitch?

I hate it when the characters are demonized too. I mean, I know I’m guilty of making Owen the bad guy in one of them— but really, I wrote that before he showed ANY redeemable qualities so… yeah. Also, Jake’s acting stupid in one of my  on-going Eclare fics but I wouldn’t say I’ve made him evil or anything. But I try to be conscious of how I write them in my fanfics. Even if I don’t necessarily like a character, I don’t let that influence how I portray them. I usually keep them as IC as I can.
